Light, contempory cuisine with a modern French touch

At Côte du Nord our aim is to create an exciting, contemporary and vibrant cuisine using the finest produce from around us here in the far north of Scotland; fish, shellfish, meat and game, locally grown vegetables and increasingly also the wild herbs, flowers and seaweed which we forage for ourselves.

Inspiration for our dishes can come from many sources; perhaps sunlight picking out the wood sorrel among the chanterelles on the forest floor or the catch in our creel hauled in at low tide, but it is only when we are completely happy with a dish that we put it on the menu.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR THE AWARD OF 'BEST DINING OUT EXPERIENCE IN THE HIGHLANDS AND ISLANDS 2011'.

PLEASE NOTE THAT COTE DU NORD IS NOW CLOSED FOR WINTER.  WE WILL RE-OPEN FOR THE NEW SEASON ON THE 5TH OF APRIL 2012.
